Hiring Times

Commence 12.30pm (NSW time) on the first day of your hire. Your houseboats due back at 9.00am (nsw time) on the last day of the hire. Late returns incur a late fee of $50 per hour or part thereof.

Hire Fee balance

The balance of your hire fee is required prior to departure. If the balance of your Hire Fee is not paid in full by the due date the boat may be opened for re-letting.

Note: Christmas, New Year and Easter bookings, the balance of your Hire Fee is due before departure.

Security Bond

A security bond of $250/$300 (Weekend and Midweek and $300/$400 (weekly) is payable on the day of departure.Unless you have paid a deposit by credit card via phone.

The Bond will be refunded within 7 days of the completion of your hire if all use and cleaning are as required, LESS fuel and other consumables including dinghy motor hire if applicable.

Payment Options

Payment may be made by Cash, Credit Card (Visa, Master card or Bank card), Postal Order or cheque by prior arrangement.

Cancellations

If twenty eight (28) days notice is given - Deposit will be refunded. A $55 cancellation/administration fee may apply to cancellations.

General Conditions

We guarantee to do everything possible to have the houseboat ready on your agreed date.
The full amount is not refundable as a consequence of bad weather, early return by you or any cause beyond our control. Travel insurance is recommended as we cannot be held responsible for any other expenses you may incur. The hirer shall have no claim on any account against the management. Each hirer will be required to sign a disclaimer before departure.

Maritime Regulations

  • The hirer must be of age (over 21)
  • NO pets, firearms or fireworks are permitted aboard by law
  • The boats are not permitted to travel after sunset and before dawn
  • Passengers must not exceed the number of berths.
  • The hirer will obey all instructions and navigational rules and stay within the waters as per Maritime NSW Survey Certificate
  • If any malfunction of the boat, motor or accessories, damage or loss of equipment occurs, the hirer will notify the management as soon as possible
  • The hirer will return the boat in as good condition as when taken or pay any damage loss and extra cleaning
